About the event
The Friendship Center is partnering with the Carroll community for Spring Fever, a series of campus events organized every February by students, faculty, and administration highlighting issues of gender equity, campus safety, and healthy relationships. February 12-14 events are open to the Carroll campus community. All are welcome to attend the February 15 Women in Sports Collaboration as part of the home basketball doubleheader. Public general admission tickets for both the men’s and women’s games can be purchased in advance online.
MONDAY, FEBRUARY 12
7 PM | Campus Climate Presentation
Lower Campus Center
Join Carroll's Title IX coordinators to discuss the most recent survey of campus climate with regards to safety, assault, and harassment. This is an opportunity for students to talk about concerns with Title IX issues and general safety, and learn what the college is doing in response.

TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 13
1 PM | Mindtap Presentation: Green Flags in Healthy Relationships
Upper Campus Center's Maronick Room
Offered every Tuesday at 1 PM, these weekly presentations organized by Carroll's Wellness Center cover a variety of topics related to health and wellbeing. As part of the Human Relations Month and LGBT+ Awareness Month lineup, The Friendship Center's Jaime Gabrielli will be presenting on healthy relationships. Join Jaime to learn how to recognize the signs of relationships that are grounded in safety, respect, and equality.
The 2024 Mindtap skills training program is open to all Carroll community members and runs through the end of April. Learn more about the Mindtap programming series.
7 PM | We Too Speak Out
Trinity Lounge
Students will volunteer to read anonymously submitted stories about sexual assault and rape from fellow students, faculty, and staff. Join the Carroll community for this event recognizing the experiences of survivors on campus.

Learn about healthy relationships and supportive resources available to the Carroll community on and off campus through student services, Title IX, and The Friendship Center.

5:30 PM | Girls & Women in Sports Day Celebration

As part of the women's home basketball game with Providence, fans and students are invited to learn about Carroll's Gender Studies program as well as services available on and off campus to support everyone in our community, regardless of gender or sexual orientation. Staff from The Friendship Center will be available to talk about the intersection of gender disparities and violence in relationships.
Admission is free for all girls wearing one of their team jerseys and all female athletes who play for the Y. All Carroll women's teams will be available to sign autographs during the game.
Attendees are also encouraged to bring dry bath products to donate to YWCA Helena.
