We could not be more thankful for the generosity we witness and receive each and every year.
Our community's gifts aren't just monetary. Our work is elevated by the partners that we work alongside year-round to make sure everyone is supported with care and dignity. Many folks stop by our offices in Helena's Sixth Ward to personally deliver items from our Needs & Wish List. Some people make a point to include donated items that they or a loved one appreciated at a time when they were fleeing violence.
In some of the most moving acts of reciprocity, former clients of ours sometimes reach out to ask how they can help our current clients and shelter residents on their journeys to lives free from violence and abuse. It's powerful to see survivors who are now thriving so eager to offer support and use their voice to validate and empower others.
We know that you value both our work with survivors and our community-wide efforts to prevent future instances of violence through education. We know this because people like you have supported us for over 50 years now. Each year, hundreds of people in our tri-county area who have experienced domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking have access to free, 24/7, confidential services because you share our conviction that everyone deserves safety, support, and care.
Everything we do is possible because of your generosity, and before this year is over, we're inviting you to show your love for communities rooted in safety and respect with a special year-end gift to The Friendship Center.
Thanks to the nearly 220 people who have contributed so far, we've already raised over 77% of our $85,000 year-end goal! Gifts of every size truly have an impact in keeping us on track to meet our community's needs with vital services going into 2024. Consider visiting the year-end campaign page to make a gift online. We also encourage you to share that page with others who may want to give.
THANK YOU from our entire team!
P.S. If you prefer to make your year-end gift to The Friendship Center by mail, you can send your check donation to 1430 N Sanders Street, Helena, MT 59601.
