Just for the Helena of It is in less than three weeks and registration rates increase after this Friday, September 30!
Organized by our pals at Treasure State Runners, Just for the Helena of It returns for its second year Sunday, October 15, and all profits benefit The Friendship Center in recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
The inaugural event in 2022 drew hundreds of runners from 13 states and raised $17,000 for TFC's services and outreach efforts in our community. Over 420 runners and walkers (ages 4 to 81!) have already registered for this year's  5k, 10k, and USATF-certified half-marathon races—and you can join them!
If you've been thinking about signing up for any of this year's races, this week has a few important deadlines:
Tomorrow, September 26: Last chance to register and be guaranteed a shirt!
Friday, September 30: Last chance to register before registration rates go up!
Come celebrate healthy relationships, healthy bodies, and healthy minds at this day filled with activities and entertainment. If running or walking isn't your thing, you can still get in on the fun as an event volunteer or stop by for the post-race festivities. The finish line party will include food trucks, live music, a cash bar, award ceremonies, and giveaway prizes. Oh, and all race finishers ages 21+ get their first beer free!
Want to make a gift to The Friendship Center in honor of Domestic Violence Awareness Month? You can make a one-time donation online through the Just for the Helena of it page or add a donation to your registration if you plan to sign up for a race.
