Introducing Our New Volunteer Program!

The Friendship Center is now recruiting volunteers for a range of year-round and one-time opportunities for both individuals and groups.

We cannot overstate how much our community's support has elevated our mission—throughout The Friendship Center’s history, but especially in recent years. Yet in those more recent years, an area where we've struggled to build capacity is our ability to fully leverage the time and talents of individuals and businesses who've been interested in getting more involved in our work through volunteering. That changes now with the official launch of our new volunteer program!

If you're 18 or older and passionate about our mission, and you’ve been looking for new ways you can contribute your time and talents, consider volunteering with us! Volunteers magnify our impact in tangible ways for our clients and help us raise awareness about the issues we address and the services we offer.

We have a range of volunteer opportunities for both individuals and groups. Whether you like engaging with the public, working behind the scenes to ensure programs run smoothly, doing take-home projects you can finish and drop off, or working directly with individuals and families on their journeys to healing and independence, we'd love to see a volunteer application from you!
